PHEV SUVs are a type of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that combines the benefits of a traditional gas-powered SUV with the modern advantage of an electric powertrain. PHEVs offer drivers a substantial savings in fuel costs and emissions, as well as more self-sustaining mobility by being able to use both electricity and gasoline for propulsion.
