Hyundai Motor’s Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2) technology is the latest breakthrough in driver assistance – it is also available in some Kia cars too.

HDA2 is designed to help drivers maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of them while driving on highways (the system can execute lane changes too).
How does Highway Driving Assist 2 work?
HDA2 utilizes an advanced combination of sensors, cameras, and radar to detect the vehicles around the car and automatically adjusts the speed and distance to maintain a safe driving distance.
These combinations of technologies along with new software updates help make HDA2 better than the previous HDA1.
What else can Highway Driving Assist 2 do?
It also helps to keep the car in the center of the lane and provides lane-keeping assistance. The HDA2 technology is also equipped with an Emergency Stop Assist that uses the brakes to stop the car if the driver does not respond to a warning when the car approaches the vehicle in front. This technology helps to reduce the risk of accidents and provides a safer, more comfortable driving experience for all.
