Many mid-size SUVs come with four-wheel (4wd) drive capability, making them well-suited to navigating off-road terrain during outdoor adventures. Smaller SUVs just can’t handle the backroads as well as mid or full sized ones – in general, of course.
The gap in size between small SUVs and mid-size SUVs also makes them easier to maneuver around tight corners, yet still provide plenty of interior space and cargo capacity for those weekend road trips.
