Jeep’s Quadra-Trac II four-wheel drive system is a sophisticated system that uses a center differential and two front and two rear driveshafts to provide excellent off-road performance. The system works by distributing power to the four wheels that need it the most, allowing the Jeep to move through difficult terrain with ease. The system is activated by a switch on the front of the transmission, and can be switched off if necessary.

How Quadra-Trac II four-wheel drive system works

Jeep’s Quadra-Trac II four-wheel drive system uses a system of gears and clutches to transfer power to the wheels. The system allows the driver to control the amount of power sent to the wheels, allowing for a variety of terrains and driving conditions.
